A clarification

At the GNU Public Dictatorship we are nothing if not sorry that our post yesterday about gun control gave some people the wrong impression.  Some got the impression that the GPD will be a repressive and invasive government that will not allow the exercise of rights without supervision.  Nothing could be further from the truth.  The GPD could never put surveillance on every individual in society, and we wouldn't want to.  While we will make sure that those who are likely to abuse others' rights are tracked and kept from causing problems to society, if you have nothing to hide then you should have no contact with our operatives!
